今月14枚目となるカードがアメリカより届いた。キャプションによると、西暦1915年"Elkmont Special"という列車で乗客が足を伸ばすために小休止しているところだと書いてある。

By about 1915,the "Elkmont Special" took tourists from Knoxville through Sunshine to Elkmont daily. The entire trip from Knoxville to Elkmont took at least two and half hours. In this photograph, the train appears to have stopped for a moment in the Little River Gorge to allow tourists to stretch their legs by the river.
